month: April 2007

After a visit from family and the creeping crud making it’s way into my lungs (I am still sick :-( ), I am rather behind in getting these images posted.  I did this shoot the day before my brother and his wife came into town, so I apologize to Christy for the delay.  Thanks for being patient!  Christy has two little ones, Garrett- 22 months old, and Whitman- 4 months old.  She has her hand full with these two sweet little boys!  They definitely kept me on my toes.  Well, I won’t take any more time- here are some images from that shoot…

On Sunday I spent the afternoon with Farrah, Brett and their sweet dog, Reagan.  These three are already a wonderful little family and will soon be adding a 4th, a little girl, next month.  Farrah was so lovely to photograph and was about as nice and easy going as they come!  I really enjoyed my time with them and look forward to working with them, as well as getting to know them better in the future!  We found out that we go to the same church, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing much more of them now that we’ll recognize each other!  Ha Ha!  :)  And, hopefully, it’ll work out that I’ll be able to photograph their birth session for them!  So, here are a few of my favorites…

And, I couldn’t leave out Reagan!

Holly was an incredibly great sport for my very first shot at a maternity shoot! It was 46 degrees outside and windy downtown- she didn’t complain one bit! She let me try pretty much anything I wanted to and made my job very easy. I appreciate her willingness to be my guinea pig. :) Holly and I also wanted to thank the ladies at Pea in the Pod for letting us choose such an adorable wardrobe to work with! It was hard to narrow it down, as there were many shots that I loved, but here are some to share!

Last Friday I spent an hour with Aggie and Army. These two were not very thrilled that I was showing up to take their pictures, but in the end we had some fun! I will be adding this type of Mini-session to my price list very soon, so be sure to watch for it! Here are a few images from our session.

Yesterday afternoon, I spent some time photographing some sweet friends of ours, Derek, Markathy and their son, Max. As you can see, Max made my job easy by being one of the most smiley (that’s a word, right? :) ) babies I have ever photographed. Even more fun was the fact that he has so many different smiles to capture! This is a family you will see frequently, as I just love being with them! No one will ever make you laugh like Kathy! And not to be outdone, no one plays the saxiphone like Derek can! You can catch him playing in the house band at BB’s on Beale St. every Monday night! So, here are some of my favorites from the afternoon…
