month: June 2008

This adorable threesome was the last session of the month for me before I head out for vacation. They have a beautiful home in Harbor Town and the area made a fabulous backdrop to some lovely shots! Mailey is such a precious little 8-month old and was super curious! You’ll see what I mean when we get to the images. I had such a good time with all three and can’t wait to show them more.

For now, here is the preview! :)

Have a great week, everyone!

I wanted to write a quick note and remind you that I will be going on vacation this coming Tuesday, July 1st and will not be back to work until July 14th.  I also thought it would be good to give one more last reminder that Monday will be the last day to pay for sessions at the old prices.  Once I return, all future sessions will be at the new rates.

If you were thinking of a session for this year and call me over the weekend or on Monday (I do have some things going on, so don’t be worried if I’m not able to answer the phone, I will get back to you asap before I go) you will not only get your session at the current rates, but you will lock in the current print prices as well.

I hope you all enjoy your 4th of July holiday!!!  I will be celebrating my son’s birthday in Colorado!  :)

Henry is my second one year old to be photographed on his actual birthday this month!  I was at his home early Friday morning to commemorate the day!  He must’ve known I was coming, because he woke up early at 5:30 for me.  LOL.  Needless to say, he was pretty tired and ready for a nap, but was a trooper and let me get some great shots anyway.  I’m going to start with my absolute favorite 3 shots (they go together) from the session and then you can see some of the other adorable pictures of him.  :)
Here they are…

Looking at airplanes with daddy…

Getting a little reading material…

I hope your party was a blast, Henry!  You are one sweet baby!!!!

Some of you may remember Levi from his newborn session back in December.  Well, he’s getting pretty big (and pretty darn cute!) and he’s starting to sit up, so it was time for another session!  We met at Overton Park in midtown and had some great weather!

He is one happy baby!  Take a look~

Finally, I made a composite with these 4, as I thought they should stay together as a group.  :)

I want to wish my good friend a very Happy Birthday!  I enjoyed hanging out with you last night, girl!

Cooper is my newest Baby’s First Year client.  I went to his home on Saturday for his first session.  At 2 months old, he is one stinkin’ happy and cute baby!  I look forward to our year together, Cooper!  We’re gonna have some fun!  :)
Here are some preview piccies!

How cute is this?

Finally, I can’t leave out their other baby, Chloe…

I love me sweet husband!

Yep, that about covers Victoria, my most recent senior. She has the MOST amazing eyes you have ever seen! No joke! But you know what the best thing about Victoria? She is kind, humble and one of the sweetest young ladies you’ll ever meet!

We started at Quetzal’s and found plenty of great backdrops both inside and out. From there we headed downtown to finish up. We had a great time and I need to give props to my good friend, MarKathy, for coming along and helping me with gear and some great ideas. :)
On to the piccies!

Here’s one of my favorites that shows off Victoria’s incredible eyes~

Thank you, Victoria, for trusting me! You are beautiful and it was a pleasure to photograph you for this very special time in your life! You did a fantastic job!

On Wednesday, it was Miles’ birthday.  We met at a local park to mark the day!  You may recognize his parent from his mommy’s maternity session last year, but I doubt you’d recognize Miles from his newborn session.  He has grown so much!  And what a stinkin’ cutie!!!!  Man, I love this little sweetie!

Here you go…on to the pics!

And with his gorgeous Momma & Daddy!

On Monday afternoon, I went to visit with Loris and her mom & dad, Tim & Stephanie. I brought my 8 year-old daughter along, as I usually do for sessions that include a toddler, and this is the first time we had a problem. Loris decided that she didn’t really want to play with the rest of us, just Olivia. It was pretty funny. Normally, toddlers think Olivia is a riot, but they will still play with me and their parents. We were able to get some pretty cute shots without Olivia in them anyway. ;)
Here are a few to preview!

Loris was also very interested in carrying around my purse. :)

and with a very proud mommy & daddy-
