Last Saturday I had 4 fantastic families come out for mini-sessions for their holiday cards. We met up at Collierville Town Square for some really great shoots! Sit back & enjoy- this post will have quite a few images!

Let’s start with 2 adorable sisters, Caitlin and Abigail.

Next up was a sweet and very funny 2-year old, Jack!

When we were done playing, we moved on to the gorgeous family of Scott, Tracey, Winston and Alex.

And then finally, we had this super cute, young family!

Now, you may have noticed that I used the word “we” when describing the sessions. No, I haven’t split into multiple personalities. :-) I had my beautiful daughter, Olivia, assisting me. She is so interested in photography that I have been bringing her along when I can. She’s getting really good with the reflector and I am proud to have her helping me out. She did let me take one shot of her while we were waiting for our first family to arrive. Here she is!

Thank you to all of the families that came out that day! You were all so easy to work with and I really enjoyed getting to know you all a bit! Have a great weekend!

You may remember seeing Levi here before.  He is the sweet and gorgeous red head baby with the big blue eyes!  Well, he is walking around all over the place and he is not even one yet!  Of course, since we were outside at Shelby Farms, he had absolutely no interest in me or the camera this time!  He was so over it!  But, we got some great shots and mom & dad came along for their family session.  They’re a fantastic set of parents and I hope they are blessed with many babies to come!  :-)

You know I love my clients!  Well, this family is no exception!  They are kind, fun, down to earth and absolutely gorgeous!!!  I met Ian, Teressa and Nia at Collierville Town Square for a family session last week.  Poor Nia had fallen asleep in the car, so she was not very interested in the beginning, but she definitely came around and gave me some fabulous smiles!  She has the most beautiful eyes!!

Anyway, here are a few favorites.  Enjoy!

Can you believe I’m about to post my 3rd blog entry today?  Well, it’s because earlier this week I had another rockin’ senior session with Miffy and I just couldn’t resist posting what I have ready to show!  I’ve been friends with Miffy’s parents for a while now and so it was fun to get to work with them.  Miffy is fun and full of life, not to mention an incredibly fast swimmer!  So, enough chit chat, let’s get to her fabulous images!!

Today in my mailbox, I found my most recent issue of Rangefinder Magazine, one of the most read magazines in the industry.  Some of you may remember me posting about the Traveling Shovel several months ago.  If not, take a read, it’s a lot of fun!  Well, Rangefinder did an article about the project and low and behold, they chose one of my images to include!!!!  I may never again be published in such a large magazine, although I hope I do, but I am enjoying this as much as possible.  Just thought I’d share the joy!

Here’s the cover-

And here’s the page with my image-

If you’d like to read the entire article, you can find the link to the .pdf at Rangefindermag.com.

Thinking of having a session with me in November?  Or maybe even just sometime in the next few months?  Well, I have donated a session to an auction for Riverdale Elementary School, and you can bid online for it!  Here is the link for the bidding.  It will give you the opportunity to support a local school while at the same time paying for a session you would already pay for.  :-)
This is for a weekday session and includes an 11×14!  So, PLEASE, consider going and supporting a fantastic cause.  While you’re at it, check out the other great items up for bidding!  There are some incredible trips, fantastic meals and lots of fun baskets filled to the brim with goodies!

This weekend we shot Cooper’s second session for his first year series.  He is 6 months old now and all smiles!!!  His sister, Shelby, joined in on some shots for the holidays and while we were waiting for his wardrobe changes, I also grabbed some beautiful shots of her!  She is stunningly beautiful, as you will see in a second

We had a great time and got some fantastic images!  Here you go!

My absolute favorite image from the whole day!!!!!

Could he be any cuter????  I don’t think so!  :-)

Stacey, Jeff, Parker and Presley are one adorable family!  We had a great time shooting in their beautiful home.  They were all so fun and relaxed- not to mention gorgeous, it made my job pretty easy!  It is such a privilege to document families at different stages in their lives. Thank you for inviting me into your home and letting me photograph your family!  :-)
Here are a few fun favorites from the day~

Have a great week!

You will see this little guy a few more times over the next several months as he is my most recent of Baby’s First Year clients. Parker is such a sweetheart.  We had a rough go the first morning I went over to see him.  Everyone tried, but no one could get him to smile or laugh much.  We chalked it up to fussiness from teething and rescheduled for the following week.  It was a good thing we did, because he was much happier and ready to play!

So, here are a few of my favorites.  I know I usually post a few more, but not having felt very good this week, I am trying to get something up for you all to see!  :-)
Enjoy!!!!

So, it has taken me all week and I am definitely behind on blogging, but I will be catching up soon!  I have been working double time today to get caught up after my hardest week of morning sickness yet.  Hopefully it will be ending very soon and I can go on with life as normal.

Enough about that, how about the link for the holiday cards?  :-)  Here it is!!!!!

I still have space open on the 11th and have had a few families show interest in a 2nd day on the 25th.  I will add the second day if I can get 4 or more families interested in that day.  Drop me an email at lisa@kiralisa.com if you are interested in either day.  Have a great weekend!
