Meghann had the most wonderful idea to give her mother a portrait session for Mother’s Day this year.  With our schedules and the heat this summer, we decided it would be best to wait until fall when Meghann would be home for a weekend to do their session.  We headed out to Collierville Town Square and thoroughly enjoyed our time together.  They have such a wonderful relationship and it’s encouraging to see a mom & daughter who love and respect each other so much!

So, here’s their sneak peek!

Susan and I spent some time not long ago taking some great portraits of her and her adorable puppy dog to celebrate where she is in life right now!  She is fresh, fun and just a blast to be around!  We had a great time and her images turned out just fabulous!

I’d like to introduce you to Jeff & Tina, along with their two adorably blue-eyed kiddos.  This family was so much fun and entirely too sweet!  :D  We went to the new “My Big Backyard” at Memphis Botanic Gardens and had a great time playing and discovering.  If you haven’t taken your kids yet, it is a must see!  Plan to spend several hours though, because you and your kids will not want to leave.

I am frequently asked about clothing for sessions.  For those of you who like something different, something stylish and fun for your kids- I have only one answer- LITTLE POSH!  You will not find more unique and fun clothing for ages Newborn-8/10, both for boys and girls, anywhere else in the area.

A few weeks ago, I went out with Zach and his entourage ( ) to downtown Memphis for his senior session.  Zach is wicked smart with an acerbic wit, so we had a good time!  He plays basketball too, so we had to make sure and get that in as well.  I think his images turned out so great and there are definitely a few in here that just make me giddy!!!!

Last month I had the most delightful opportunity to do something a little different.  I photographed the kids class picture for Sproutlets Preschool in Arlington.  I’m telling you, this pre-school is phenomenal! I wish it were closer to my own house!  Alicia, the owner and teacher, is smart, caring, professional- well, let’s just say I could go on and on in saying nothing but nice things about her program.  It is top notch!

So, she wanted something a little less traditional for the group picture and then we went to the Arlington Playground of Dreams, which is so cool, for individual shots of the 6 kids in her class.  They are all so sweet and we really wanted to capture their individuality and personalities.
